Five fabulous new compositions will be premiered at New Dublin Voices upcoming concert marking the end of the 20th anniversary celebrations.
From the almost 150 entries, the international adjudication panel made up of the renowned composers Jaakko Mäntyjärvi (Finland), Dr Seán Doherty (Ireland), and the founder-conductor of New Dublin Voices, Dr Bernie Sherlock, awarded prizes to six composers for their excellent pieces:
First Prize – Motshwane Pege – Jubilate Deo
Second Prize – Ben Heneghan – He Wishes For The Cloths of Heaven
Third Prize – Gerard López Boada – Laughing Song
Highly Commended
Richard Barnard – In the Fields
Ádám Brandenburg – Metamorphosis
Monica Nasti – Donna M’Apparve
